Just bought my first HAED!

Post by 3madspaniels »

Hi

I had never even heard of Heaven and Earth designs before joining this forum! I had a good look around the site and decided to start with something small and chose a "Quick Stitch" design.

This is the design I chose

http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index. ... ts_id=2219" target="_blank

There was no indication of size on the site, or number of colours, but I loved the design.
The chart arrived yesterday. Finished design is 4 x 4 1/2 inches and there are 90 colours! So I've now had to buy a 6 x 6 frame, magnifier, 25 count fabric, and will also have to invest in the threads I don't already have.

It will be a very expensive tiny picture, but I love it!

I'm trying not to be daunted by the 1 over 1, reminding myself that years ago I made my mother in law a paperweight using 42 count silk gauze!

I hold you all responsible for feeding my addiction!!!!
Paula

You've chosen a lovely design for your first HAED - I'm sure it will be the first of many and you'll end up a complete HAEDcase like many of us!

Looking forward to seeing you start stitching this.

Me too.. I have way too many stashed away that I need to complete first, but it's so hard not to just buy a chart!

I'm looking forward to seeing your work on this project 3mad!
