My daughters 9th birthday

Post by corby_stitcher »

Saturday is my darling daughters 9th birthday. Now she is growing up fast (to fast). So instead of the normal birthday party, she is having a disco party tomorrow night. The hall is booked, so is the DJ complete with smoke machine. And as a special treat, we have had a cake made with one of her favorite cartoon carictors on it, BETTY BOOP. Below is a picture of the cake.

Well the party went dont a storm. 50 screaming, dancing 8 and 9 year olds who went home very happy indeed. Some even fell asleep before it finished at 9.30pm. As for me, well i spent three and a half hours cooking burgers, hotdogs and pizza.
All in all it was a very special day for my little princess. And the good news is, she wants to buy a cross stitch kit with some of her birthday money.
I LOVE YOU LIBS XXX
