ali-cat's Mouse and Flowers - Finished

Post by ali-cat »

I normally never stitch 'cute' designs, for myself, as I can't think where to hang them in our house, but as soon as I saw this in a magazine I bought, I had to do it!! I'm threatening Mark I'm going to put it in his man-cave/guitar room.

There are two more in the set and I can't wait to start them as well. This one is done on the pink lurex aida I picked up at the local market and love it!!

I agree -- I'm not a cutesy admirer but this one is lovely. The realistic flowers are a bonus. Looks like man-cave material to me! :P

Thank you all!! He is a cutie, isn't he!!

It was the flowers that made me fall for this one - they do look so real. I was so worried stitching them as they are mostly done in white and you just couldn't see the stitches - until I put the very last stitch in the orange centre ... and they suddenly stood out!! The mind and eyes are funny old things!!

Unfortunatley for all those living outside France it was in the Mai/Juin 'Créer au Point de Croix', jardin et floraux spécial!! But once I have finished all three let me know if you want them!!

I'm not overly cutesy either but this really is lovely and looks perfect on pink aida. I'm definitely voting for it to go in Mark's room.

Thanks so much for the info--and if you don't mind, I definitely would love to borrow at least this one, who knows I may want to borrow all of them when you are done with them. Very cute.
By the way, looks like you've been very busy with the biscornu making---13
