I'm having a stitching weekend. YIPPIE! FINISHED 18.06.2011

Post by Cecilia »

At last, I've been able to earmark this weekend for stitiching. I've even booked a day off tomorrow so it's going to be an even extra long stitching weekend. DOUBLE YIPPIE!

I'm going to start stitching the first of two baby towelling robes for my friend who's expecting twins in April. I hope to post pictures eventually.

Have fun! I am jealous too, I haven't been able to get much stitching in this week but I will try harder next week to make up for it!

Fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed myself especially when my DH did the ironing on Sunday so even more stitching time. :D

I'm going to be able to do more this weekend on the first baby towel; I've done almost half of the aida band. I'll post pics, (whether I've finished or not) on Sunday evening.

Re: I'm having a stitching weekend. YIPPIE! UPDATE 24/03/11

Post by Cecilia »

Hello. As promised here is what I've done so far. Sorry it's later than promised.

Almost completed half of the band but although I had more stitching time last weekend, my fingers were on a "go slow" and couldn't seem to flow with my stitching. Anyway, progress is progress.

I'm having more stitching time this weekend - Yippie!

This is a Rico design and the hooded towel is also one of theirs. The orange blob on the right is the start of a ducks foot.
