Beauty And The Beast

Post by Sarah »

Can anybody help?
I am desperatly seeking a cross stitch kit Beauty And The Beast! I don't want to spend a lot but all of the kits I have come across are of Belle on her own and I want one of the two of them! Any ideas?
Thankyou
Sarah xx

I am not trying to be a tease, but I have a pattern of Beauty and the Beast at their feet is the clock and teapot. Unfortunately I can not pass it on to you at this time as I have not stitched the pattern yet. It is one I have collected over the years for a quilt I am going to do. I bought it directly from the Disney Catalog. I googled it and I have not found it anywhere but maybe browse e-bay?????

I was just looking in the SAL Section and Paul is doing a disney themed project and I noticed that the Beauty and the Beast tha he has done is the same one that I have. Maybe you could do some kind of deal with him to borrow or buy the pattern.

Here is the link http://www.crossstitchforum.com/viewtop ... =6&t=12024" target="_blank look on the last page you will see a picture of what I am talking about.

Rose I don't mean for me to correct you, even I may be wrong. You said above "borrow or buy the pattern" we are not allowed to sell them on are we?
Not that I want any money for it at all, just thought it may confuse people as I thought selling them on was a no no. Slip of the keyboard I think :D

I think you are right Paul. Rose is very concientious about copyright rules so would not encourage anyone to break them.

Actually as long as you legally purchased the original pattern, and you are not making copies of that original pattern, (to keep or pass on) then you can sell that pattern. It would be the same as purchasing an original painting and then later deciding to sell it. At least that is what my legal friend has told me.

Did not realise that. Thanks Rose for clarifying the situation.
