Emma's 1st SAL - Mother Earth

Post by littlemissstitch1982 »

Hi All,

I have decided to start a SAL, after being a member on this brilliant forum since March, and I have now figured out what to do  I thought I would share with you the wonderful Mother by Janlynn, Its stiched on 28ct Evenweave 2 over 2. I have been stitching this since August 2010 and have been enjoying it but I cannot wait until I start the lovely border

Here is a pic of what it should like

and this is what I have done so far

As I can only stitch really on a weekend it seems to be taken ages to finish, I will post an update soon :D

She is really gorgeous and you are going very well with what you have accomplished. It is hard only being able to work on it at weekends. Keep at it and it will continue to grow.

Hi All,

After a long week I have managed to finish the world, Its been nice to have a bit of a colour change as it took me months to do the dress. Hopefully I will be able to start the sun, moon and stars and get those finished by the end of next weekend  . I really cannot wait to start on the border and I think it should not take me long to do each Motif.

Here is an updated picture

I will post again on the weekend so you can see how much I have done hopefully :D
