First, here's my long-awaited first waste canvas project. It's a drawstring backpack. I'll probably add something else on top, but for now it's finished and I'm pretty happy about it...

Some of you were wondering about my project from The Silver Lining, an artist local to me, so I'm finally starting a thread. This is the first of four charts of his I purchased ages ago. It's called Sterling Silver.

What a neat idea for the back pack - looks really great.

Love the Silver Lining Rose, so delicate and you have made a great start on it too.

Love the backpack!! I had a similar idea, so just wondering if that stitching a patch or stitched straight onto the bag....
And purple roses!

I used waste canvas to stitch the design onto the bag.
