I've haven't posted about my current projects so thought I would do an update. I'm working on this one along with my Gift from God birth sampler. Its virtually the size of a HAED so will take a while to do. The first page is pretty much solid black so looking forward to getting started on the 2nd as there are more colours in it. There are 35 pages and I'm doing it on 18ct aida.
This is what it will look like completed:
And here is my progress so far:

Have been thinking of doing something similar in subject matter so am really interested in your thoughts on how your progressing.
Its been pretty straight forward so far as it's big blocks of colour - black and very dark blue for page 1. From a purely stitching point of view it's fairly straight forward all the way through as there is very little confetti. The challenge for me will be sticking with it and not getting distracted by other designs.
I've been wanting to do something 'spacey' for awhile but struggled to find a design I liked. I now have 3 and this is the one I chose. Its from witchykitt designs: http://www.store.xstitchgirls.co.uk/ind ... cPath=1_14" target="_blank

Very dramatic design, and a good start! It would be a pity to get distracted, but I know what you mean! I have several that I am just burning to do! Plus one that I just have to add a couple of bits to, that were not in the original design. Stick with it!
that is going to be very beautiful when you are done. good start. hang in there with the black and blue stitching. it will eventually pay off.
