What child is this? Finished 1/1

chart is from Better Homes and Gardens Creative Ideas - Cross Stitch Christmas, christmas 1991 Magazine.

I started this chart a couple of days ago. I am hoping to get it done quickly so that I can have it put in a creche festival (nativity displays), not sure I will get it done in time.

I have just noticed a major boo boo though. I have accidentally shifted the entire chart down by 10 sts, when I started this one I had only just enough room to make this now I have no room for the bottom sts. I think I will continue with the chart since I have done so much of it already and just adjust the size of the frame. What do you think?? any other ideas as to what can be done without ripping out the whole thing??

It's a lovely design, I can't think of a solution about the bottom off the top of my head but I hope you'll find a solution!

Cover up the missing part with a silk ribbon bow or some other trimming.

Not sure what to do to make the pattern fit on the fabric. :(

I have finished this item. It is ready to give to my friend to be framed. If you look closely you can see the sparkly thread at the halos and around the star, the pattern called for just white but I wanted to add a bit of sparkle. Not sure if it would be noticed once on the wall. I still am really not comfortable with making such long stitches like those but the pattern called for it and I think it would look funny if I couched it down. Oh and I also changed some of the colors in mary's face. It called for a light purple under her eyes and it made it look like she had bruises under her eyes.
