This is my first AAN, and first time using linen. It was tough at first, but I'm getting used to the small squares.
Here is what it should look like:
Here is where I'm at right now:
I'm working on 28 count linen, 1 over 1 full.

Isn't that a cool pattern. I am thinking about that one and also the one Mauve did with the spider!!!!!!

Great start! I think anyone working on black fabric deserves a medal - let alone working one over one on it

Thanks! It sure is. I've discovered that it's super easy to work with in natural sunlight. Too bad it's winter and I'm only able to take advantage of that on the weekends.

Doesn't it? That and the skull itself looks fun. I'm juggling a couple WIP's, but hopefully I'll get to the fun parts soon.

Wow! What a cool looking pattern! It somehow reminds me of Grim Fandango (and not just ' cus it's a skull!) You've made a great start on it! And yes, having worked on black fabric before, I applaud you!

I had to google that. I'm not much of a gamer, so I had no idea what that was. I can see why it would remind of of that!
I must be a glutton for punishment, because I have another pattern I recently got that calls for black fabric.

It's an excellent game, more of a mystery type than a shoot-em-up, so I loved playing it, finished it a few times.
Great work and good luck. I keep looking at this one too, and a lot of that is because it does have that kind of Mexican decorative skull aspect.
