A smallish project to get me back into stitching. Made a lot of mistakes in this, but I don't think anything is too obvious
The pattern was for three different variegated flosses, - I was having a hard time deciding what colours to use from my stock, didn't want to go and buy any more. So in the end I just used two and a solid orangy colour for the swirly bits to try and bring it together and I am surprised and happy with the finish. Not sure what I am going to do with it
Will have to try another smallish thing before I get back to my WIPs which I don't want to make silly mistakes on.

That's a lovely design! Is it a freebie available somewhere? And, I really like your color choices! Nice work - hope you get your stitching mojo back soon!

That is so pretty. Wouldn't know anything was wrong if you didn't say so and still can't see it. I bookmarked that page from DMC as I love variegated/variation threads and have a few designs I want to use them on, but this certainly has some very pretty ones. thank you. I will be watching to see what others you do. Very lovely choice for this one.

Fiddler, I've just cottoned on ( ) to why I was making mistakes. I usually grid my larger projects and not smaller ones. This was in between and I perhaps should have gridded. It is easier (and sooner) to see if you have gone wrong with a grid.

Great project Mags - I love the colours. Sounds like you haven't been stitching much recently either, so I'm glad you've found your stitchy bug again too. Have you decided on your next project yet?

Very pretty! I love the thread colors. I did this one using some variegated thread and loved it. And it IS surprisingly easy to make mistakes in this pattern. I did too. Fortunately, like your's, you don't notice them.
It is so beautiful! It would make a lovely biscornu, I think...
