Cool! :applesauce: :applesauce:
I used to love watching Next Generation and Voyager. My hubby is a die-hard original series fan. We even went to a few Trek conventions!

Fantastic progress (& on black, too) - I could even identify the captains!! :applesauce:

Time travel, too!!! I just watched last night the original ST episode where they ended up back in the 1960's & had to slingshot around the sun to get back - seems like they've all done that at one time or another (no pun intended).

:applesauce: :applesauce: brilliant subject. You've made excellent progress in a short time.

Will be watching this one with interest as another Trek fan here. I grew up watching Next Gen and loved Voyager as well. Only one that I never really had time for was ToS

I remember way back when I was one of the "letter writers" when they were first going to cancel the original Star Trek. The only time in my life when I wrote (actually me and some college friends) wrote the "You can't do this to us" letter. Since then I have probably seen every episode at least once (still get them on DVD from the library when I need a fix) except for some of the Deep Space Nine episodes. I had missed the "Enterprise" series somehow but I have since made those up. What a fantastic cross stitch this will be for your husband. Can't wait for your updates.

Just noticed that you have listed Schim Schimmel's Leap of Creation in your WIP list and was wondering if you have posted any progress of that one as well. I  his designs and would love to see how you are getting on with this too :D

Brilliant idea!! And I have to ask where you found the pattern or if you designed it yourself? This is so cool. Scott Bakula and Patrick Stewart are very recognizable.

Carole: That is so cool about being one of the letter writers!!

That brings back some memories of when my kids were smaller and used to watch those episodes on tv.

Great progress and wonderful gift for hubby too.

It looks great - I'm sure your husband will love it

I like Star Trek as well - especially Next Generation and Voyager. Never really went for DS9 though
