Hi Guys, I decided i would start a thread for my first gigantic project. its entitled Thunderchild. Its a custom pattern that a friend on another board made for me.

this is what i should look like when its finished

I have only just revied my fabric today still waiting on the threads (Im doing 6 colours at a time or however many ineed for the page im working on)

here is a picture of page 1 ready mapped out

this project is going to be 44x20" im really hoping my threads arrive tomorrow as im dying to get started oh i also forgot to mention its on 18 count aida

Crickey!! That's a design and a half!! You'll have great fun stitching it and I'm sure we'll all love watching your progress.
Isn't it wonderful how many great designs there now are thanks to computer technology. All my books from 10 years or so ago are all full of cutesy flowers and bunnies. I know cutesy flowers and bunnies have their place, but it is so much more rewarding to have more challenging designs to work on.
