Hi Everyone,

I came across this Adroid App called Floss Checklist by Opeware. I think it is great! I usually go into the fabric store with my printed list of needed floss, but this app enables you to create shopping lists. You can search by manufacturer. I has several listed. In my case I select DMC and it lists all of the floss. Then you just go through and mark how many of each color you need. It automatically adds the ones you selected to a shopping list for you. It also includes a canvas calculator.

Thank you for starting this thread! I don't have an android, but do have an iPhone. I never thought to look for an app like this. I too have just had lists on paper. It would be so much more convenient,and easy, to have an app to keep track of what colors I have and need.

Does anyone have an app like this on their iPhone that they like? I'm looking through the app store right now, and see a couple, but one has zero ratings and the other has mediocre ratings.

from the iTunes store you can get XStitcher and also Cross Stitch Calculator. They are for iPods and iPhones. I think they are $1.99 or something like that. I love mine for keeping track of my inventory and no more loose pieces of paper that I don't have when I get to the store. If you search under Cross Stitch a few more apps come up too.

I decide to go with the XFloss app. I can't wait to get home and start inputing the floss I have. I'm such a dork.

I like it. The only thing that I don't like is you can't enter a quantity to a color you've added to the shopping cart. Besides that, it's pretty slick.
