Hve made a start.

Slow going, but there a few new things that I am trying. The pinstitch start (cant do the finishing), some parking and gridding. So all in all I am quite pleased with progress.

:applesauce: great start. I'll be interested in how you like the gridding and the parking and the pin stitch. I love gridding, tired parking but I am a real cross country stitcher and need to try the pin stitch. I have printed out the directions, just haven't done it yet.

This is how far I have got with Oli. The parking is taking a time as I keep double checking the floss to make sure I have put it in the right place :roll:
I don't know how I cross stitched without the grids, its so much easier.
Regarding the pinstitch start, the back still is a bit of a mess but then how bad would it have been with out it.

I have to leave Oli for now as the materials have finally arrived for my daughter and grandson chart and her birthday is first so I have to finish that one first.
