This is my new project
and here are the materials that arrived this morning.
I have no idea who he is but my 18yr old daughter is mad about him.

Slow going, but there a few new things that I am trying. The pinstitch start (cant do the finishing), some parking and gridding. So all in all I am quite pleased with progress.

great start. I'll be interested in how you like the gridding and the parking and the pin stitch. I love gridding, tired parking but I am a real cross country stitcher and need to try the pin stitch. I have printed out the directions, just haven't done it yet.

Excellent start! I hope you have fun stitching this one. Very nice of you to stitch this for your daughter and you know it will look great since skitzzzz charted it.

This is how far I have got with Oli. The parking is taking a time as I keep double checking the floss to make sure I have put it in the right place
I don't know how I cross stitched without the grids, its so much easier.
Regarding the pinstitch start, the back still is a bit of a mess but then how bad would it have been with out it.
I have to leave Oli for now as the materials have finally arrived for my daughter and grandson chart and her birthday is first so I have to finish that one first.
