Mickey Mouse/ Toy story

Does anyone have a mickey/minnie mouse/ Toy story (not sure if ive ever seen any character from this as cross stitch) chart that i could borrow. Or know of any charts in past magazines that I could hunt through at my grans. Just remembered that my cousins birthday is soon and I haven't bought anything!

I am not sure that either one of those have permission to sell those charts. I would be surprise if this was legal.

I may be wrong here, but the second link looks like the pattern have been charted by hand. And since they are free patterns, they are not infringing on Disney, are they? I think if they were being sold it would be a problem.

Not sure about the first link, since it is having trouble loading on my tablet right now.

Without permission from Disney you can not use there copyrighted designs. It does not matter if they are free or not. The copyright still is stands. They could be prosecuted. I would be careful as they could come after users as well. We just recently had a post about the company going after a buyer of one-off threads.

I have all 3 of these. Search for my Disney stitch along. In that there's pictures of the finished pieces. They may be of help

since they are no cost styles, they are not infringing on Disney, are they? I think if they were being marketed it would be a issue.

I am no expert on these things, but as long as the character is copyright protected, I don't think that someone can just up and make a design and give it away. Disney is especially protective of their properties. Again, I'm not an expert, but that is something I would not risk doing and to be honest it just doesn't feel right. We are very cautious and protective of copyrights on this forum and if it isn't clear that a chart is not violating a copyright we stay away. Perhaps erring on the side of caution, but that protects us also and protects those designers we so rely on. Sorry if this makes it more difficult for what you are looking for. Perhaps someone here has some other ideas to help you.

And Disney will prosecute they have done it in the past.

Disney are very strict on copyright issues.

They e-mailed me regarding one of mine, Asking where I got it from.
I gave them all the info I could but was fine as I got it out of a French cross stitch mag.

I'd stay well away from ones that are not endorsed by Disney
