Well I haven't put any stitches in yet - just wanted to reserve my space! Here is my special new start:
It's special for a number of reasons - it's my first HAED mini and my first B&W design but more importantly it was RAK'd to me by the lovely Dana (Parksfarm) . For all these reasons I decided to use some special materials. As the chart only uses 15 colours (one of which is PTB), I decided to convert the DMCs to HDF silks, another first using them too! I'll be stitching on 28ct cream Brittney 2 over 1 tent stitch. Originally I was going to use a grey Lugana, but the Brittney was already in my stash. In my cross stitch economics, 1 FQ of Brittney is equal to a couple of silks so I went with what I had ! I've gridded the top row of pages and am ready to go......
