Happy Home - Start to finish (lots of pictures!)

Post by calico »

I started this project in March and finished it in May! I had intentions of posting my progress as a SAL but then I finished it before I posted it. I've decided to post it after the fact since I know how you all love photos :camera:
So far, all of my projects with the exception of my first one (over 10 years ago then a long break) have been kits. I decided it's time to venture out and do some non-kit patterns. I found this one in Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine. It's meant to be a journal cover but I'm going to frame it instead. I used 16 ct Aida rather than 14ct. It was very fast moving and easy to stitch with large blocks of a single color. Enjoy!

This is so very nice and your stitching is lovely. The backstitch on this really made it pop out. It's a lovely piece.

How cute! :)

And your stitching is beautiful - so even :applesauce:

I like that you shared from the beginning. How lucky for us that you took so many pictures...
