Hi Everyone, I always admire the beautiful work done by others and while I am okay cross stitching I am really not very good at finishing items into anything other than a framed picture !!.
I would really like to make myself a needle book/ case but I am struggling on how to make it up, if anyone could point me in the right direction I would be so grateful
thanks Sue

Re: Needle Book / Case
I used these directions Miss Mabel wrote up for one of my needlebooks. I still had the link saved in my bookmarks or I would have never found it.

I also bought a kit from Needleboxes Etc. that was big enough to hold needles and scissors. I bought 2 of the trifold kits, either item #24 or 26- I can't remember now. Their kits come with the hard board cutouts and the instructions. You have to buy your own fabric, padding and ribbon. I modified mine a bit so it has 2 of the strips you tuck your needles into on each side. A bit complicated and putzy, took all weekend to do- most of that was due to letting the glue set up. But happy with the results.
