My own private stitching tutor!

Post by Sharila »

Just wanted to tell you that from yesterday, till tomorrow, I am having my own private, free stitch tutor, my mum!

She came to visit me for a few days and she has given me helpful tips, practical help, and learned me stitches like satinstitch, contourstitch and chainstitch.

She tried to learn me french knots , but failed. Or it was rather me who failed.

She doesnt embroider anymore, only knit, but she sure knows her stuff!

My mom was the one who got me started on cross stitch many many years ago. She was a very talented woman and could do almost any type of needlework. She always had so many projects going at once!
