Hi Im Janey, and I live in Leeds with my hubby and our 2 daughters aged 3 and 16.
I love stitching and beadworking, and am hoping to work out a good way to combine the 2! I also love reading, Tery Pratchett and Joanne Harris are faves!

Ooh, another Terry Pratchet fan -- have you seen some of the cross stitch designs they do of Rincewind and the Hogfather? Not sure they do them justice, but they might be fun to try some time.
Welcome, so glad to have you join our little family. Your work will be appreciated by all. So we would love to see it. Also join in all the other fun we love newbies and try to include them in everything.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
Welcome from the West of Scotland, where it is trying to snow and I have a cold. We love newbies so join right in. And you had better sign up for the bingo, or Agi will getcha.
Welcome to the forum, you sound like you have many qualities that make you fit right in, there are many Johnny Depp and as we have discovered, Terry Pratchet fans too
Oh and the stitchy habit too
Hello from South Yorkshire from me too! Don't feel unworthy of posting your piccies, just look at my gallery then you'll feel worthy ^_^ Not everyone on here does stunning work
Terry Pratchett is an authour... of the discworld series I believe hada. ^_^
Hello and welcome, Janey. I'm a Terry Pratchett fan too. We have a large collection of his books and I enjoy re-reading them if I'm feeling a bit down - they always make me laugh.
BTW this will give you an idea about Terry Pratchett, Hada56. He writes a type of fantasy book where all the adventures are set on 'Discworld'.
My aunt made the mistake of letting me read the colour of magic when I was ten...needless to say I didn't understand it. I've only read one of his books since then (Nightwatch I think it's called).
Welcome Janey!
You will def love it here, it's a great forum.
Everyone is very supportive, whatever your level of stitching ability, I'm still around 'preschool level' I believe,
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE! Forget love! I'd rather fall in CHOCOLATE!
