pack of fabric

Post by agi »

About two weeks ago I saw somewhere a pack of fabric. It contained different types (Aida, evenwave, linen), different counts, colours and sizes - kind of an assortment.

At the time I didn't think of buying it, but since then I decided, it would be sooooo good to have it... and now I can't find it again.
My memory is terrible, so it may have been one of the posts here - I just have no time to go over posts at the moment.

Have you seen such a pack somewhere?
Thank you
Agi

stitchaholics.net were selling off packs of 4 or 5 sheets of coloured Aida recently... £4 or £5 instead of the original £11
I have a pack included in my stash box, but not sure if they're still doing the offer

EDIT : the site has one pack at 23% discount...

Well, actually it wasn't so much the colours I was after, rather the different types and counts of fabric - it would be good to try out what is what...
Thanks anyway.

As for e-bay... I have never tried it and I am a bit apprehensive of it, I don't know why. i will have to give it a try.

Agi, I've bought quite a bit of fabric on eBay, for exactly the reason you give, trying out something different, and I've found it works very well. I tend to look for descriptions such as 'job lot fabric', which usually means there's lots of odds and ends of different fabrics which they couldn't sell separately but which are great for experimenting with, and you can often get them at a very good price. Why not have a look round to see what there is? After all, looking is free and without risk :-)

That tandem look a good buy. I also look for assorted lots on ebay. I just won two lots today.
