Just joined the forum. I've been stitching for about 15 years now, and thoroughly enjoy it. I find it very relaxing and therapeutic, I suffer from chronic pain in my ribs and though stitching hurts, it's helps to distract me from that pain.
I've just finished stitching a piece - Silver Tabby cat looking into a mirror and seeing a silver tiger reflected back - love it!!
Next up is one I've had for a while, Celtic Autumn, just about to sort out the threads etc. this afernoon.
Welcome to the forum from the West of Scotland. Set up your gallery so we can all see Silver Tabby. Sounds wonderful. The Celtic Autumn design is fabulous (on my long, long list of things to do if I have six lifetimes to stitch). Join right in: don't be shy. We love newbies!
Hi Carol, welcome to the forum; the cat/tiger design sounds wonderful, do post a pitcure of it! I've seen the Celtic Autumn design, it's beautiful -- looking forward to seeing it in progress in the SAL thread.

Welcome to you. Your tabby sounds like a gorgeous piece I can't wait to see a picture. Also start a stitch along (SAL) for your Celtic Autumn. This is one I also have to do sometime but I am a bit in awe of beadwork at the moment and am staying clear of it for now but I would love to see this taking shape too. You may even inspire me to try my hand at it too!
