Okay, I hope I'm posting in the right place... I was thinking it might be the "Gallery" instead but it's not letting me access that yet.
Anyway, here is the project I mentioned before. I made the four ornaments- two for my boyfriend's mom, and two for his grandmother. My first finished project ever!
They are not all attached, I just set them up that way so they would all fit in the picture.
Those are adorable. Were they really your first project? My goodness, my first project left alot to be desired I'm afraid but my MIL had it framed anyway. These are very nice. Good job!

I don't think its a problem as such but I noticed when I first joined that you need 10 posts on the forum before you can view or upload to the gallerys I'm guessing its a tactic to stop newbies spamming the gallerys with naughty pics?

Yes, I can access the gallery now- it was the matter of posting 10 times. I wasn't sure where to post this finished project, but I'm guessing that when I finish my next one it will just go in my SAL thread.
Thank you all, it was so much fun to do. I stitched it on the regular fabric- uhh I think it was called Monaco- and then cut out the same size squares, stitched them together and filled them with fluff, then when I got to the top I sewed a ribbon in there- one that matched the border. Then I just pulled off the strands to make fringed edges. The first one was experimental because I saw a picture of the ornaments on the cover but had no clue how to make them. But they ended up looking better than I had hoped, so yay!
Last night I FINALLY got the chance to give my boyfriend's grandma her 2 ornaments... she loved them, and I got a request from her husband to make some more!
