What is Frogging?

Post by Slinky »

Please forgive my ignorance in this matter but I have seen reference to 'frogging' on a number of posts. I can't work out whether it's a good thing or a bad thing!

Someone please put this uneducated Herts girl out of her misery!

Frogging is baaaaaad!

Frogging is the affectionate term we use when we make a mistake and have to undo the stitches. The most common reasoning is because you have to rip it (your stitches) which sounds like ribbit But I always thought it was because we have to hop backwards in our progress.

Ah! That makes sense. Isn't that just the worst thing - undoing stitches? Time wasted stitching the wrong stitches and having to undo them is worse than sitting in a traffic jam (SUCH a waste of time)

I appreciate your help!

hehe I agree. And frogging takes so much less time than stitching. It makes me sad. But I guess thats also why he's a frog. It makes it less sad to joke about frogs running all over the world attacking peoples stitches. :P

I like mine barely cooked apparently. Jayms always insists my bacon isn't cooked when I put it on my bread.

I love crackling! We had a hog roast at SIL's village fete some time ago, and I managed to bag a very large piece of the crackling :-) -- some people didn't even eat theirs  !
