WIP - King Tut

Post by Little Stitcher »

Hey Guys,
This is what I'm currently working on when I get time. It is a xmas present for my brother's fiancee - last years xmas which I'm still trying to complete - finally on 3 week break from uni so can try get a bit done. Anyway so you have an idea below is a photo I took awhile ago. Most of the top right section I have rippped out :| as I miscounted and as I'm new I didnt want to try and 'adjust' it at all....evil little :ribbit: . I've also done more on the bottom neck section and I've now started the blue on the eyes and am working towards the stupid bronze/gold metallics :|

This is what it will hopefully look like when completed:

Thanks Guys :)
Threadbear - That is my fav part of stitching when you start to 'see' the complete picture and it's no longer messy or random.

Yes that was a long enough visit from the frog...wasn't happy :(

I don't envy you working with metallics. I did once and it was a complete disaster. The next project I did that called for gold metallic got just regular gold floss instead. I'm a whimp. Good luck to you!

Pengwenn, try the Rainbow Gallery petite treasure braid metallics. You'll never look back. They are lovely to work with.

Hey Guys,
Here's an update - I've done more but as Lou is a member here I don't want to show what I've done on top section that she hasn't seen - I'll keep taking pics so you can see progress but will be bit slow sorry. Just find you guys really help to motivate me to stitch even faster when seems like getting nowhere!
