Re: Beads and knitting warm wrists
These look really interesting. Do you knit in the beads? Or do you stitch them on after knitting?

i've seen crochet and knit where you string the beads on a seperate line and pick them up in the stitch where you want it..
but i'll wait for the translation as this looks totally different!

Sorry for that late answer but my right arm didn't work... have just been operated...benceagi wrote:These look really interesting. Do you knit in the beads? Or do you stitch them on after knitting?

So, as I do not master english very well, I find a video for you where you can find explanations to knitt with beads...
Let's see : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=n2-YbLvyNCY" target="_blank" target="_blank
I can't anderstand very well what she says : hope you will.
You knitt a row with beads and the return row without beads...
If you need more explanations, ask me : I'll do my best for you.

Er... that looks very pretty, but really fiddly!
Thanks for the video, Pirouette! I wouldn't have understood a written explanation.
And I'm really sorry to hear about your arm. I hope it is getting much better now.
