OT amazing day out

Well I had the most amazing day out yesterday, a friend and I went to Lambourn in Berkshire which is the Valley of the Horse, basically masses of racehorse stables. We only went to two yards as my friend has a dodgy knee and my frailties are well documented.

So pics, here is Kauto Star who is one of the best racehorses ever, and has been the subject of several of my cross stitches by Skitzzzzz. He's retired now but makes public appearances and was visiting this yard.



Then we went to a very important yard and rushed off, to the last stable on the very big yard to see Sprinter Sacre who was an incredible horse two years ago but has suffered a heart issue in the last year and a half, but he's still an amazing horse and I was delighted to get to stroke his nose and chat to him.



And here is a lovely picture of me (and all my scarves) with another champion, Cheltenham Gold cup winner Bobsworth.



To me this is how meeting celebrities is for other people! I'm so happy.
