Hello Everyone

Post by ajang »

hi all! A.J here from Philippines. I decided to go back to stitching to relieved stress from work. I also find it interesting to hang those pretty crafts as decoration in our home.

Sad to say but i am also hoping that there are other Filipinos on this site since cross stitching is gradually losing its popularity here in our country. Before cross stitch is a fad specially to kids since it is a part of our high school project. As time goes by and technology enters, some people lose their interest in this art. And as far as I know, lots of cross stitch stores decided to close due to these changes that's why stores are very rare and hard to find.

Hope to learns lots and have lots of friends here.

 Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! Everyone was ahead of me mentioning charmagne also. She stitches the most beautiful butterfly designs! Until she pops back in (as Serinde mentioned) we are more than glad to see your projects and to encourage and motivate you as needed. Like you, many of us have lost our local needlework shops and have had to rely on wonderful places like this forum to develop cross stitch friendships. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum.

Everyone has already told your about Charmagne - I'm sure she'll pop in one of these days. In the meantime, you've got lots of people from around the world to talk to.

I think cross stitch is an excellent stress reducer, btw. What kinds of designs do you like to stitch? I hope you'll share pictures - we love pics!!
