I am new to Cross Stitch. How do I do a Tapestry stitch and also how to do a strand stitch. I checked on Internet and could not find these stitches in Cross Stitch
I have a kit with these stitches

Hello Dolores and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! And welcome to the wonderful world of cross stitch. There are several internet websites with great tutorials that will explain how to do a variety of stitches. Two of my favorites are Mary Corbet's Needle 'N Thread and Scarlet Quince. Carole
