I used to travel for work for weeks at a time with lots of downtime. I took up stitching to fill the time.
I no longer have as much free time as I did when I started and have to squeeze in any stitching after work and on the weekends.
I started on the small Tree Frog Trio Kit - can't remember the date
Still haven't washed it....whoops

Lion and Hippo Sampler - completed march 2015

1 of 2 Flower Faeries - completed April 2015

2 of 2 Flower Faeries - started April 2015 - currently UFO or possibly just PhD status
Spot the error - a full thread and half into the 2nd faerie when I spotted this mistake! I haven't got much further than frogging this error and redoing it (with more mistakes). I don't mind making mistakes, although I like my reference points to be accurate.
When I shared this photo on facebook, my brother came back with the comment "Crtl Z"...

Wedding reception table numbers - May 2015
I also got shanghaied into stitching my sister's table numbers for her wedding reception.
Thankfully very simple font style on a 'hessian' style Aida. Double sided table numbers and I think there were 12 tables all together (30 individual numbers altogether). I found PCStitch and used the free demo version.
My father then glued them together and hid the join with rough cord, as well as drilled support holes at the base. Some of our friends liked the idea so much they did the same for their wedding later that year, they wrapped theirs with blue satin ribbon instead of the rough cord.

I then got a new job and stopped stitching for awhile.
Started my current project, Ballerina Dreams in April this year. I did have a break of a few months before starting back up again a few weeks ago.
Will post updates of my current WIP later.
note: If this is the incorrect section to post this, please let me know. Will happily move it.
