This is the beginning of a scarf. The yarn is a more brilliant blue than the picture indicates - I call it an Air Force blue. And it’s alpaca - oh my gosh, so soft!! I bought it at a farmer’s market in town from a couple who own alpacas. They had two of them at the market - I’m in love.
The wife dyed the yarn herself - I don’t know if she spun it or not. I only bought two skeins, thinking I was going to make a hat. I decided to make a scarf instead so I need a couple more skeins. Hopefully I can more from the same people - maybe in white (keeping the Air Force theme going). 
And this is January of my temperature afghan. Yes, I am way behind but it’s okay. No fancy yarn on this one - using Hobby Lobby’s yarn (which is very nice, btw).
