Lowery stands
Are Lowery stands for small projects
Re: Lowery stands
Hello and welcome to the forum.
As Lowery stands are the stands that hold a frame you can use whatever size of frame you like to hold any size of project, although I have found larger projects, that is projects over 22 inches (plus extra fabric at the sides) can be a little unstable, so I prop mine up with a cushion at the opposite end to the clamp.
If you stitch on a roller frame I would suggest you go for a side clamp, if you stitch with a hoop, you would need a corner clamp.
Hope this helps.
What kind of projects do you like to stitch?

Re: Lowery stands
I've used the side clamp with both frames and hoops - the smallest a 5" hoop (anything smaller is difficult)
