Back again!

Post by rcperryls »

I hope it was only a few of us who were unfortunate enough to get the "Account Suspended" page for a few hours this morning. If you were wondering if you had done something, you did not. Not sure what happened, but I left Alex an email, and Serinde sent emails to those she has on her email list for times like this. Clearly we are back and running again. As I said on FB, I blame this on Thanos (he is going to be the cause of all difficulties in my life for a while now.)

Drinks are on the bar! Extra hot choc and dipped strawberries (first of the season from Fife!).

Yes, it's working on the PC--was a bit worried about trying but saw a couple of emails from the other mods which said some browsers were working okay. I still am getting a big red warning page on my 2 kindle devices that say a phishing issue had been reported on this site. Kindles use Silk browser which likely is one of the lesser known ones?? I'm using Firefox on the PC and it's running pretty close to normal for me now :) Thanks Alex!!!

Karen, Just saw your email and came quick to check again and saw your later post. So glad you can get back on. I had gotten an email from
Debby, but have emailed her back, that it should be okay. Browsers can be funny. For a long time I couldn’t use safari for some of the accounts I pay on line, and not Firefox for a few others. Mostly I’m a safari girl. But a day like this one definitely requires a large brandy alexander. With lots of brandy and a little less alexander @rotfl: @rotfl:

I had problems on my iPad. It directed me to a site called crossstitchforum.co. Seems like a hijack to get people onto that site. Working fine now though.

Yay we're back, though no smilies

I'm using Firefox at the moment, but if I use my tablet which uses Chrome I get the red warning page, but then Chrome is owned by Google, Richard had an explanation for it, but I don't know how to quote from a different post.
