One way to thank Alex

Post by rcperryls »

Since we’ve been back, many of you have asked how can we show Alex how much we appreciate the work that he did to get us up and running again, and the work he does to keep us in good shape throughout the year. This was an especially difficult fix, I think. Some of you may have noticed that our newest member is “magefix”. Magefix is a company that removes malware and fixes websites that have been hacked. We all know it took a lot of time (and now we Mods suspect a bit of cash, too) to get us back up and running.

Apart from putting a beer behind the bar for him at the Stash & Grab, there is a way to show your appreciation of all that Alex did for us: become a supporting member. Chances are you've never read the Trade/Sell rules , but becoming a "supporter" is a requirement for those who, besides being regular members, design and sell charts, patterns and other cross stitch material.

For the rest of us, being a "supporter" is totally optional. We are most definitely an open and free forum.

We have had quite a few new members since we last put out this information, and having just had a taste of what life would be like without the forum, it seems like a good time to put it out again. So if you need a little nudge or reminder (like I do) and are in a position to go down this route, consider this your nudge.

Have a question. Is Alex a stitcher like us? If so I have numerous items that I could “thank him” with. If interested Alex please PM me!
Thanks
Anita
