My 4 year old grandson is obsessed with the Titanic. He is coming for a visit and I wanted to make a craft with him. I bought a few “make your own snow globes” and thought he could make a Titanic scene in it.
Any ideas what we could make a tiny Titanic out of that would be water proof? An iceberg?
Miniatures?

Plastic? Milk bottle plastic is also paintable.
I have an artist friend who will not create pictures of Titanic, because of the tragedy. He will, however, show her on her sea trials in the Irish Sea.

Our milk comes in bags here…it’s a Canadian thing. But, I may have some juice or other plastic containers around.
I did find two micro machines boats. They are not luxury liners, but might be close enough to make him happy.

A model ship on a titanic keyring? I see the Chinese do pewter Titanic key rings and ship them anywhere.

Re: Miniatures?
I found a micro machine ship. It only has one stack, but might be able to glue a piece of Lego to make another. Since it’s metal, this will be an “after” design and it won’t need all stacks.
Also found a few ocean things…treasure boxes, crabs, etc. some he can glue down, others can be free floating. I think a piece of styrofoam should work as an iceberg. I looked for small plastic fish, whales etc. but didn’t find anything.
He’s coming tomorrow, and I think I’m as ready as I can be.

Re: Miniatures?
I'm sure you are. Most importantly, just have fun!

Re: Miniatures?
Have fun AND don’t let him glue himself to a cat or something.
