Rose-HOw about a Reference Section?

Hi, In reading through the wanted section I was thinking that we have some FAQ that seem to pop up on things like color charts/cards, conversion, etc. Would it be advantageous to have a thread at the top with the Glossary that's a reference section?

I've given the link to the up to date DMC chart (Current as of August 2008) a few times now as well, but I always have to search for it as I forget the thread it's in. maybe that might be helpful for some as well?

Ok I do not have the time right now but I can do some work and set something up. What exactly are you thinking that you would like the thread to contain?????

I was thinking of things like links to color conversion charts, color numbering and name lists, maybe definitions of the types of fabrics, bead sizing conversion, a link to the fabric size converter. Those type of things. The ones that pop up all the time that everybody is always looking for help with. Just some place where you could use kind of as a reference library. I could help you gather them and I'm sure the other ladies have a list of things that they find envaluable.

Of course you may tell me it's already there and I just missed it. Maybe just a thread in Tips that's stickied...is that the right term? If that's the case then I can start it myself if you or Alex just do what magic you do to keep it at the top of the list.

I understand what you are asking for some of the stuff is already available. The list of different fabric is in the glossary terms. At least a start is there we can add to that at anytime.

Some of the other stuff if we put it together that would be ok and would keep it all in one place. Today is bad I am in the middle of a couple things but I can put a topic up and you can start adding to it whenever you find something you would like to put in it.
