Hello From Texas!

Post by jennleemat »

Hey y'all!!! I'm new to the forum and have just recently found cross stitching again. My grandmother taught me when I was young and I loved it. My mom loved it too b/c it was the only thing that could keep me still and quite!! :P I'm really excited about this site... hopefully I will be able to learn some new stuff!!

Hi and welcome from the UK. Whereabouts in Texas are you from? I roadtripped around a good portion of it about three years ago, absolutely loved it to bits. Covered about 2500 miles in a week I think, hehehe.

Looking forward to seeing some of your stitching.

Wow... thank you all for your responses!!! I will def. be picking all of your minds to help make my work better! The last time I was cross stitching was when I was child, so I wasn't too interested in the details and making it perfect, but now...

Minij, so far I haven't really done much. I like to get the kit's so I don't have to think to hard about it!! :P Right now I am working on a gift for my mom. She loves fish and lighthouses, so I am making her an underwater kit that I got from Diminsions. My next project is going to be for me... it's unfortunately not a kit, but I'm still excited. It's an egyptian sampler. It looks like it's going to be really hard so I am nervous about starting it!!
