Post by sammy_kaye18 »

Hi Everyone

i am a newbie to the site and have already got one project underway - it has been underway for 14 YEARS! and yes you read that right so I am determined to get it finished soon as my mother would lvoe it for her mothers day present if I can get it completed and framed in time.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone had any cute birht record charts as I have 4 people all due babies. 3 in April and 1 in July.

I was hopign to make a start asap but am lacking any ideas - Ive seena tatty teddy one which i like the look of for my friend due in July but can only find the same few and wondered if anyone had anything different.

Many Thanks in advance

I suspect the intertubes are dripping with this sort of thing, some of it for free! I don't my self have any charts I'm finished with (don't have any charts for this at all), but here are a few suggestions:

http://stitchdirect.com/shopWebSite/php ... lu=133004M" target="_blank and the magazine is still available, too

This could be adapted http://stitchdirect.com/shopWebSite/php ... lu=156010K" target="_blank

There are a bunch here if you scroll down: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/cgi-bin/find/ ... ch_results" target="_blank

Google around the tubes and see what you find.

Welcome! You can also check DMC. If you join their free club, they have all kinds of free charts. They had several baby samplers the last time I checked.

You could also use a chart that is suitable for a young child that you like and then just add the details, I am doing that at the moment with a couple of teddy charts.

Here's a site you should check out:

http://www.countedcrossings.com/collect ... lized-kits" target="_blank" target="_blank

They have cute baby feet and a shining star pattern that you can personalize with the baby's name and birth date. And you don't pay for shipping.

Hope this helps!

Hi,
Only just joined so I expect you've completed your baby samplers - or perhaps not....

I'm new to this site but have a lot of cross stitch patterns which I'm trying to relocate to good homes on behalf of a friend. She has been a cross stitch addict all her life but sadly can't do it any more as she has bad arthritis.

So, I have several lovely baby sampler designs:
Bunny Birth Sampler,
Babies Don't Keep,
Baby's Nursery - also has a lovely family tree design
The Cross Stitch Nursery
DMC Collection 3
If you would like, I could give you some more info on them then post one/them to you. I am trying to raise a little donation for my friend, so would prefer to sell for a small amount (£1 each, perhaps, plus postage) than give away. Some are new, others in perfect condition.
