Agi's Blackstone Fantasy Garden - DONE :-)

Post by agi »

I started 4 days ago, but only stitched in the evenings. I love working on it, and love the colours.

Fantastic start on it. I like this design a lot don't think I have that much patience to stitch it though!

Serinde said she anchored the blackwork threads in the cross stitch, so that's what I am doing. I may have to go back to the first pattern because in that the ends are sticking out a bit, but don't know what to do with them. I may stitch that part again, in the worst case.

You've made an amazing start! And the blackwork is so delicate. Which Carrie's Threads colours are used in this design? And -- question to both Agi and Serinde -- are they nice to stitch with? I'm waiting for her silks to come out and have high hopes of them, but the colours are so lovely I might have to try some of the cotton floss as well :-)

These are DMC threads hand-dyed. So nothing different in touch.
The following colours are used:
Coffee, New Vision, Gator Green-3, Seaweed-3, Bittersweet, Black Cherry, Bordeaux, Elk Snout, Masquerade, Midnight, Raspberry.

They are so beautiful! I love them.
