Tatty Teddy Birth Sampler

This is my current WIP, I started it last week. It's a birth sampler for my friend's baby, due in July, I thought I'd get it started and then all I'll have to do is add the baby's details when he's born.....and she knows it's a boy, which is helpful too :D

Here's my progress after around 13 hours of stitching:

thats so cute i collect TT and would like to try one the backstitching puts me off a bit

If you can manage evenweave, then their better done on that. Because of the amount of backstitching it means you don't have to try and pierce through any aida blocks.

I shall definitely be watching your progress with this one. I did a Me To You Wedding Sampler and HATED The backstitch, it has put me off Me To You cross stitches lol even tho they look so lovely

Wow 40 TT!!!! I've got another 2 TT's to tackle at some point, as long as this one doesn't put me off for life!!!!!
Thats how many I have to do, but haven't done nearly that many just yet! All the ones I have completed however, are in my gallery...

Yes I had a peep at the TT's in your gallery the other day, they are gorgeous!! I love the ones with red on, it really stands out against the grey x

I have a Tatty Ted birth sampler to do for my sister in law. Baby was born in December ! and I still havent taken it out of the packet! Think thats bad? My friend's wedding (newton law's) sampler is not yet finished and she got married in Oct 07!

Your stitching is looking really good. look forward too seeing it as it progresses :)
