Snow Leopard from HAED by Schim Schimmel.
Started stitching on Sat evening on DMC 18ct pre gridded aida with DMC threads. Wish me luck as the background is mainly black and dark purple/burgundy.. :shock:

Nearly 1/2 a page done but the background plays havoc with the eyes so Im going to do the 10x10 sections along the top edge and then start on his ear. The 1st colour I needed I didnt have :lol:

As soon as I saw it I fell in :wub:

This is the biggest project I have attempted and its 300x223 sts. Done on 18ct it will be aprox 16.5 x 12.5.

I saw the Leopard pic that Dazbo666 put up and I :wub: it so guess who I'm going to blame when I go x eyed with the black background :lol:

Thanks everyone :) Ive just done another 800 BLACK sts :lol: A bit goggle eyed now and deffo not really happy with the coverage (black on white) but nothing I can do as I cant see to stitch on a smaller count.

Never mind I am enjoying it :)

This one is lovely! And I can definitely sympathise about the black/purple background, my HAED is the same, so you'll get difficult/interesting bits on the leopard & then have to go back to red and black again for a while!
