Hi,
I am hoping that someone will be able to help me with my request for original chart of Winnie the Pooh Cross stitch calendar by Designer stitches, I have a copy that is quite a few years old and decided to finish stitching the kit but the chart is very faded & i am having difficulty in trying to make out what the symbols are, here's hoping that someone can help Designer stitches went out of business a few years ago so I am unable to contact them direct.

I have to say that the way you have worded your request we can not help you. It is against copyright laws to send a copy of patterns. Some one would have to loan or give or sell you the pattern. We on any forum have to be careful not to seem as if we are supporting any kind of copyright rule breaking.
Having said all that maybe we can help you. If you or someone you know has a good program you could scan the pattern and then play with the hue and brightness of the pattern and try to enhance the piece you have. Just be sure that if you do make working copies that you then destroy them once you have finished stitching so that all you have left is the original.
Another suggestion is to contact the original company that made the pattern and explain what has happened most companies are very good about helping you finish the project you started.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
If your Winnie the Pooh kit is by Designer Stitches then unfortunately they went out of business a few years ago now, I do not know if copyright laws still stand but I am sure somebody here will know?
Happy Stitching

Thanks for replying to my request, I have managed to buy another kit on an auction site with the original chart.
