It's always a great gift to stitch something to do with a team that the person supports -- can I ask what sport this is? (sorry if it's a silly question, but I'd never heard of the Steeler's  )

The Steelers are an American football team. They are in Pittsburgh, PA and actually won the superbowl last year! My family is all originally from Pittsburgh, so they are all obsessed with the Steelers. :)

My hubby is an (as he calls it) in the closet Steelers fan. He doesn't watch football but absolutely HAD to watch the superbowl last year. He grew up in the Pittsburgh area and his father and some other family lives up there.

I follow the Dolphins, DH the 49ers and younger son the Raiders, but we were all pleased the Steelers won the superbowl in 2008 :) Have been watching the football on TV here in the UK since 1984..great game

Makes me think I should pull out my ny giants logo I started last October..I am a little over half way done and the OH brings it up every so often that I never finished it for him! I'm personally a Bronco's fan..but already figured out that they probably aren't gonna do much this year (I hate our new coach..and so does just about everyone else in denver :x )..but yes we most definitely will be going to the Bronco-Giants game on Thanksgiving day! We have to have some rivalry in the household!

Anyways..enough about me! I look forward to seeing this one stitched up and the logo's are fairly easy since you get a lot of the same color! :)

@ kerbear - must be hard to complete a project like that if you don't support the team! I don't think I could do it.....

Good start, the bright colour really pops off the fabric!
