Hello!

I've only been cross stitching for a month so. So far I've only done small kits, and I'm now in the middle of my first non-kit project. I had actually been staying away from cross stitch forums because I didn't want to get overwhelmed with information.
But I went looking online yesterday and when I came here it was amazing because there are a string of subject headers in the Tips and Tricks section that address the very issues I've been wondering about most; backs, thread length, needle sizes, hoops. I've already gotten a bunch of info just from reading but I wanted to say hello and I expect to be coming here often!

Welcome to the forum, and I'm glad we have already proved useful. I like it: you have only been cross stitching for a few months and you have completed several kits and are jumping into non-kitted projects!! wow! :applesauce: :applesauce: The forum is addictive, I warn you, and visiting here might just slow you down... :lol:

Oh when I say I've done several kits in a couple of months, I just mean little tiny ones! I LOVE the Janlynn minis, they're great for a newbie. Plus I did a couple of Needle Magic ones. I think I've done six, plus a bookmark. Now I'm doing a 96x76 pattern I got from Cross Stitchers Club. I've got plans to do a bunch of cross stitch for Christmas gifts and I have to stop planning more projects or I'll never make it in time!
