Scarlet Quince - Medea *Updated 11/10/09*

Post by Billly'sGirl »

So I thought I'd add a picture of my other project. It's a design of the painting "Medea" by . I started it about 2 months ago and I have complete approximately 3.75 pages. I'm doing it on 18-count aida 2-over-1, all blended threads!
Remember that my camera sucks, and it looks a lot better in person!

And here is a link to what it will look like when completed:

oh my stars! that is fabulous! i have never been brave enough to try a "real" scarlet quince due to all the blended threads. i never completed the free rose pattern she offers.

Goodness. What patience you have with having to blend all the threads. Fabulous start though on a really stunning design. :applesauce:

That looks fantastic! I have an SQ waiting to be started and am a bit in awe of the blending required, but this is real impetus to get onto it :D

This is beautiful and looks so effective! :applesauce: But blended threads scare me too much so..... I might just have to watch from the sidelines

All I am getting is a message that the picture was moved or deleted from photobucket. :thinks: :(
