HAED - The Devil In Music *Updated 10.5.10*

Well I have my photos all ready so can show you the remainder of my HAED rotation. First up is The Devil In Music (Kinuko Y. Craft). Here's the full picture:


I think this is one of my favourites out of all of them, seems to have a bit of everything I like - a theatre scene, Venetian/Italian gardens at night, a lady in a long dress and of course that opera ghost or whatever he is! (OH is freaked out by him!!)
This one is in fact bigger than Queenie - narrower but a lot taller - 450 x 775, I'm using my biggest piece of 28ct, and tent stitching as well, needless to say
Here's the first page:

Mostly black, but not as much as some of the pages to come! Unfortunately it has made it a bit wonky with it being a continuous thread of black and getting pulled in the same direction... hmm

Wow what a beautiful design. Good progress too. Are you using a frame because tent stitch has a tendancy to pull the fabric out of shape?

Fantastic start on all of them, how in the world did you get three pages done so fast!!!! I love this piece too, it reminds me of Phantom of the opera!!! Which I love !!!!

Another lovely one! This one has lovely rich colours in it. I hardly know which of yours is my favourite now out of the 6, they're all wonderful in different ways. I'm going to enjoy keeping up with updates on all of them.

I will enjoy watching this but not one i would say I want to do.

It is interesting that you say there is so much black to begin this as the picture looks more like it would be all reds.

That was my first thought, too! I love Phantom also! I've been lucky enough to see the traveling production of it twice when it has come to town.

I love it too, probably what attracted me to the picture! Never seen the live production though - yet! Seen Evita and Cats live, though!

Wow, there's so much going on in that picture! I think the theater portion is my favorite -- the chandeliers and seats and that big red curtain...so beautiful!
