Vampire Cat Vlad HAED

Post by CheyennePony »

This is the 1st HAED I started, back in 2007 I think. So far I have only done about 1 1/2 pages. I just got him out again for the UFO SAL on the HAED BB and thought I'd share him here too.

This is what the finished piece should look like:

He's stitched on 25ct - Lugana I think - 2 over 1 full crosses.

It seems that this UFO has a long story, that's why it's worth getting it back. The colors are striking, I hope you'll have a great time stitching it! :o

I like him!! Am a big fan of the Carrie Hawks cats :D :kitty:

2 over 1 crosses on 25ct sounds like it'd be quite tricky though??

I'm not sure the words 'cute' and 'sweet' would have sprung to mind – but he's fantastic!! In fact if you look at my avatar, stick a couple of wings on Ellie ...... a definite resemblance!!

Actually I haven't had any problems with it so far. Both of my HAEDs are 2 over 1 full cross on 25ct and not had a problem with either. OK the backs are very messy, but no one will see that apart form me!

ali-cat - My black cat looks just like Vlad but without the wings and she has the attitude to match!

Glad to see that you are giving him some attention. Will be a great finish when you get to the end. All cats have this attitude.

I really like this cat series. Happy to see one in the SAL section. Great start and hopefully this will stay as a wip.
