I completed this project years ago but have never done anything with it.. I guess its because I always knew it would need to be worked on again. I stitched this pattern because it reminded me of all the times we would go out as a family to cut down our Christmas tree. BUT.. to make this my family, I need to add another adult and another child. I still have the pattern but I am trying to figure out the best place to add the extra people. I no longer have any of the threads.
My thought is to tuck the new adult behind the tree just behind the other adult. But then where to add the other child? Behind the tree, behind the red/ grey child? In front of the tree, infront of the red/ grey child? In front of the purple/ blue child? What are your thoughts?
Edit: I realize the image is kind of little.. its in my gallery if you want a bigger photo
I agree if you are going to add the adult on the other side of the tree behind the first adult then you would really overwhelm that area if the child also was there. So I would have them a bit behind the rest of the group.
